What materials can you cut and engrave with your 100W CO₂ laser?

Our 100W CO₂ laser can cut and engrave a variety of materials, including:

• Wood: Softwoods up to 12mm (0.5 inches) thick; hardwoods up to 9mm (0.35 inches), Many of our multi-layer products and signage use high quality Birch Plywood (1/4 - 1/2 inch).
• Acrylic: Up to 12mm (0.5 inches) thick.
• Plastics: Certain types up to 10mm (0.24 inches) thick.  Many plastics are NOT laser safe!  We can talk details.
• Leather and Fabrics: Leather up to 5-6mm (0.2-0.24 inches) thick; various fabrics.
• Paper and Cardboard: Standard thicknesses for intricate designs.
• Rubber: Natural and synthetic rubber materials up to 6mm (0.24 inches) thick.
• Metal: Our laser can permanently etch metal using marking sprays, we have examples that we would love to share!

For engraving (not cutting), we can work with:

• Stone and Glass: Engraving intricate designs on surfaces like marble, granite, slate, glassware, and mirrors.
• Coated Metals: Engraving on anodized aluminum and other coated metals.

We can also engrave items like Knives (wooden handles), leather portfolios, tumblers, hat patches in many different materials!

What are the maximum dimensions for items you can work on?

Our laser bed accommodates items up to 3 feet by 4 feet. For larger projects, we can create pieces in sections and assemble them seamlessly.

Absolutely! We specialize in bulk orders for businesses, offering customized employee awards, branded promotional items, and signage. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and timelines.

What is your typical turnaround time?

Turnaround times vary based on project complexity and order size. We strive to complete most orders as soon as possible, and we'll provide an estimated delivery date upon order confirmation.  We can do last minute and other Rush Items to make sure we can meet your needs! (Locally only).
